Debateful is a student-led platform created by debaters, for debaters. Drawing from our own experiences, we’ve designed this space specifically for students who are eager to explore debate and discover their voice. We believe that debate shouldn’t be reserved for the few: everyone deserves the chance to express themselves, be heard, and grow. That’s why we offer free access to foundational resources, videos, interviews with successful debaters, and everything you need to start a debate club at your school.

Led by debaters, for debaters. Being a student-led platform, Debateful is uniquely tailored for new debaters. We draw on our experience of having been new debaters to make it easier for beginners to understand the basics and help them form their path to becoming a successful debater.
Self expression is not just just a skill, it is a right. Through debate, students will gain confidence to speak their mind, clearly, thoughtfully and boldly, even when tackling some of the most sensitive or controversial topics.

With a variety of resources, Debateful also provides everything you need to set up a debate club at your school to apply the foundational skills learnt by doing spars and drills.

Debateful is founded and led by current high school debaters who know exactly what it’s like to stand up in front of the room and debate for the first time. Having competed nationally and internationally, our team combines firsthand experience with a deep understanding of the challenges new debaters face. That’s why we’ve built Debateful to be beginner-focused, tailoring every workshop, resource, and opportunity to empower students to be confident, find their voice, and thrive in debate.
